The Estuarine Planning Support System (EPSS) is an interactive tool designed to guide the user through a generic integrated estuarine management process, making use of key tools and outputs from the TIDE project.
By placing the user’s area of interest into a broad classification (for example ‘Industry, infrastructure and port development’ or ‘Conservation & biodiversity needs’) it is possible to use this generic roadmap to direct the user to relevant supporting outputs from the TIDE project at each stage of the generic management process.
Important: The EPSS (Estuarine Planning Support System) is a generic guide (see examples above) which includes links to relevant TIDE tools and reports. To allow for backward compatibility it has been produced as a macro-enabled PowerPoint 97-2003 file.
To run the EPSS you must have PowerPoint installed. You will also need to accept and enable macros when you open the EPSS file in PowerPoint.
If problems related to your network’s security settings persist (resulting in, for example, inactive hyperlinks within the EPSS) please contact your IT department.
